The Defence Headquarters says Nigerian troops on October 29 repelled an attack by the Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists at Wawa Cantonment in Borgu local government area of Niger state. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the release of 12,000 metric tonnes of grains as relief materials for victims of flood disaster across the country. The Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has admitted in evidence, the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) reports. It shows alleged over-voting in favour of Sen. Ademola Adeleke, during the July 16 governorship election in the state. Oyetola and APC had on August 5 submitted a petition before the tribunal in Osogbo.
