“Zamfara people have also been faithful to the APC with the confidence they have in the Matawalle-led administration, especially in the fight against armed banditry, which hitherto threatened development in the state,” Idris said.

The committee is to be Chairman by the former Minister of State Foreign Affairs. Sen. Tijjani Yahaya-Kaura, the Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission (NPC) in charge of the state, Alhaji Muhammad Muttaqa-Rini, who will serve as its Secretary as well as Yahaya-Kaura doubles as Director-General, APC Governorship Campaign Council in the state.

Other members of the committee include: Amb. Abubakar Hussaini-Moriki, Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad Shinkafi and the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani, Former State APC Chairman, Alhaji Lawali Liman and former Attorney General of the state, Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Takori, among others..
