Bandits terrorists have abducted four female students of the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe in Zamfara, the state Police Command have confirmed. The spokesperson, SP Muhammad Shehu who made this known on Wednesday, said that the students were kidnapped on Tuesday night. “The suspected bandits invaded the off-campus students hostel, a rented house in Tsafe town. “Receiving the report, security operatives chased the kidnappers, one of the five abducted  students escaped from the bandits but the kidnappers fled with the other four victims,” Shehu said. The Supreme Court of Nigeria has affirmed the six years jail term imposed on a former Director of Pensions, Mr John Yakubu Yusuf. The apex court also ordered him to refund N22.9 billion to federal government. The N22.9 billion was part of the police pension fund, which Yusuf admitted before a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory FCT to have been misappropriated. The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, received a request from President Muhammadu Buhari making requests for additional N182.45 billion for the police and approval for adjustments to the 2022 fiscal framework.
