Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Hassan Kukah has condemned the killing of a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE), Ms Deborah Yakubu. Ms Yakubu was killed at the institution premises following alleged blasphemy against Prophet Muhammed in an audio recording on Thursday. Killed in a mob action on the school premises, the student simply identified as Deborah was accused of insulting  Prophet Muhammad (SAW), in an audio recording. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday, said it will suspend the online pre-registration on continuous voter registration (CVR) by May 30 to enable those registered complete the physical registration.
