The National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Daniel Bwala has resigned from the party. Tinubu on Sunday, announced Senator Kashim Shettima, former Governor of Borno State as vice presidential candidate of the party. However, Bwala, in protest to Tinubu’s choice to produce a Muslim-Muslim ticket, announced his resignation from the party via his Twitter handle @BwalaDaniel on Sunday evening. “Tonight I officially resigned my membership of @OfficialAPCNg on principles and conviction that I hold so dear. The Sokoto State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Yusuf Nadabo on Sunday, said that 720 personnel and 160 Special Marshals had commenced special patrol for Eid-Kabir celebrations in the state. Gunmen on Saturday abducted the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Always Petroleum and Energy Service Limited, Mohammed Jamiu at his residence located at Idare quarters in Okene local government area of Kogi state. Four bodies have been recovered from Friday’s boat mishap at Ojo area of Lagos. The four bodies, part of passengers in a W19 fibre boat carrying 16 passengers were recovered at Mile 2 area on Saturday. The boat capsized on Friday night.
