The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has rejected the order of the National Industrial Court (NIC) for the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) to suspend its ongoing strike, describing it as “black market judgement”. Justice Polycarp Hamman on Wednesday, had ordered ASUU to suspend the ongoing industrial action, holding that the strike was a breach of the Section 18(1)(2) of the Trade Disputes Act, which prohibits their action.
