‎‎As the political landscape of Ondo State evolves ahead of the 2027 general elections, a distinct voice is rising from the grassroots of the Ondo North Senatorial District. Engr. Mike Adeyanju, a staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged as a beacon of hope for constituents calling for a paradigm shift in representation.‎

‎Amidst growing dissatisfaction with the current senatorial leadership, Engr. Adeyanju’s aspiration represents more than just a political bid; it is being described by supporters as a “rescue mission” to restore effective, people-first governance to the district.

‎The prevailing sentiment across the district suggests that the current representation has fallen short of expectations. Constituents have cited a disconnect between Abuja and the local communities, with many feeling that the promises made in previous election cycles remain unfulfilled.

‎Engr. Adeyanju distinguishes himself through his unyielding bond with the grassroots. Unlike the “Abuja politicians” who only appear during election season, Adeyanju has maintained a consistent presence in the communities, understanding the unique challenges of the farmers, traders, youth, and elders of Ondo North.

‎The strength of Engr. Adeyanju’s mandate lies in his broad acceptability across the six Local Government Areas (LGAs) that make up the district. Political stakeholders and community leaders from these areas have signaled their readiness to back a candidate who listens:

‎Owo & Ose: Known for their rich cultural heritage and agricultural strength, these LGAs are rallying behind Adeyanju, seeing in him a leader who will prioritize infrastructure and agricultural development.

‎‎Akoko North-East & North-West: The heart of the Akoko division requires a senator who can navigate complex legislative duties while remaining accessible. Adeyanju’s technical background as an Engineer is seen as a vital asset for attracting federal projects here.

‎Akoko South-East & South-West: Communities here have expressed fatigue with the status quo. The “comfortable mandate” bestowed upon Adeyanju by these areas highlights a desire for a representative who is not just a party man but a community man.

‎Engr. Mike Adeyanju’s platform is built on the pillars of Accessibility, Competence, and Delivery. His supporters within the APC believe he is the only aspirant capable of uniting the party faithful and winning the general election decisively.

‎His promise is clear: to ensure that the voice of Ondo North is not just heard in the Senate, but respected. By prioritizing local welfare and maintaining his bond with the people, Engr. Adeyanju is positioning himself to deliver the dividends of democracy that have reportedly eluded the district in recent times.

‎As 2027 approaches, the momentum behind Engr. Mike Adeyanju continues to build. With the backing of the six LGAs and a reputation for grassroots integrity, he stands as the formidable choice to reclaim the APC’s promise of progress for the Ondo North Senatorial District.

‎”The Mandate is Clear. The Time is Now.”
