The National Assembly (NASS) approved for itself, in the 2024 appropriation bill, the following:
The sum of ₦78.624 billion was approved for House of Representatives.
₦49.145 billion for the Senate.
₦36.727 billion for the National Assembly Office.
₦30.807 billion for general services.
₦20.388 billion for legislative aides.
₦15.189 billion for Service Wide Vote.
₦15 billion for the National Assembly Hospital project.
₦12.326 billion for the National Assembly Service Commission.
₦12.123 billion for the National Assembly Library Complex (take-off grant).
₦10 billion for the ongoing construction of NASC headquarters.
₦9.008 billion for the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies.
₦4.5 billion for the completion of ongoing NILDS building.
₦4 billion for the National Assembly Recreation Centre.
₦4 billion for the design, construction, furnishing and equipping of the National Assembly’s Budget and Research Office.
₦3 billion for procurement of books for the National Assembly Library.
₦3 billion Senate car park.
₦3 billion for the House of Representatives car park.
₦3 billion for the upgrade of key infrastructure in the National Assembly.
₦3 billion for the design, construction, furnishing and equipping of the assembly’s ultramodern printing press.
₦2.7 billion for furnishing of committee meeting rooms and others offices within Senate building.
₦3 billion for furnishing of committee meeting rooms for the House of Representatives.
₦2.5 billion for the National Assembly Pension Board (take-off grant).
₦1.230 billion for the office of retired clerks & permanent secretaries.
₦1 billion for constitution review.
₦130 million for Public Accounts Committee (Senate).
₦150 million for Public Accounts Committee (House).
₦200 million for Senate Appropriations Committee.
₦200 million for the House of Representatives Appropriation Committee.
