The Government of Egypt and the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to host the AfDB annual meetings in May 2023. This is contained in a statement issued by the Communication and External Relations Department of AfDB, which was made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja. Africa has been losing from five per cent to 15 per cent of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita growth because of climate change and its related impacts. Aviation workers at the Ibadan Airport on Monday joined their counterparts across the country to protest against inclusion of what they described as anti-labour clauses in the new Aviation Bills.
