ADC is good to go, says Campaign DG as NASS candidates collect certificates

The Director General of the African Democratic Congress, ADC Global Campaign Council,  Abdul-Azeez Suleiman has vowed that the party will form a comfortable majority in the 10th National Assembly after next year’s elections.

He also challenged other political parties in the country to produce the quality of young, dynamic candidates put forward for the Federal legislative positions by the ADC.

He threw the challenge at the ceremony for the issuance of certificates of return to House of Representatives and Senate candidates of the party at the Zone 6 registered headquarters of ADC.

Suleiman who was represented at the event by Abbah Salihu, a personal assistant,  said the vibrancy in the spirits of the candidates from all the states of the Federal is testimony that the younger generation of Nigerians have come of age and ready to reclaim their natural and legitimate right to the task of reshaping the society.

He said the ADC, symbolizing the warm handshake of unity and friendship remains the only alternative if Nigeria is to be rescued from the mergins of irrelevance, inconvenience and decay, into a more secure and productive future.

“Today, the ADC has sent the clear and loud message that it is the only party with the requisite political will and necessary courage and capacity to take Nigeria through and out of current multisectoral limitations imposed by leaders who see power as an end in itself.

“The presence of the party’s National Assembly candidates from all the states of the Federation is as well a testimony that the ADC headquarters at the Zone 6 Abuja is the authentic address recognized by INEC and relevant elections regulatory bodies,” Suleiman said.

Referring to what he called a ‘negligible and inconsequential handful of rebels who hold illegal, unauthorized meetings at hotel bars’, the DG said they are already out relevance in the party.
