The BUA Group has told Kogi state government that it was no longer interested in its 50,000 hectares of land allocated to it in 2012. The Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Tuesday voted in favour of local government, legislative and judicial autonomy, among other bills. More than half of British voters think Liz Truss should resign as prime minister and 80 per cent blame the government for the rising cost of living. The National Assembly (NASS) has said that only 11 States Houses of Assembly have passed the constitution amendment bills. The Chairman of NASS Joint Committee on Constitution Review and Deputy Senate, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, who disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday, urged the remaining 25 to do so in the interest of Nigerians. A priest of Onitsha Catholic Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. Joseph Igweagu, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Anambra.
