The Osun Election Petition Tribunal has directed parties in the petition against Sen. Ademola Adeleke, as governor- elect, to file schedule of witnesses within 24 hours to the Tribunal’s sitting. The tribunal, scheduled to sit on October 26, also said it would be sitting every Saturday, as well as on public holidays, to enable it conclude the matter on time. President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that the establishment of a National Carrier for Nigeria is at 91 per cent completion, and is expected to commence flight operations before the end of this year. The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) says the nation’s advertising industry loses over N120 billion annually to production of advertising, advertisement and marketing communication materials outside the country. The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has set aside and declared the dismissal of Mr Emmanuel Byis from the service of the Kaduna State Water Corporation (KSWC), as unlawful. The court said that the dismissal was done in breach of the terms and conditions of Byis’ employment and the Kaduna State Public Service Rules. Delivering judgment, Justice Sinmisola Adeniyi also held that contrary to the Kaduna State PSR 2005, the procedure for the dismissal of the claimant as a Deputy Plant Manager was violated.
