Kano State Agro-Pastoral Development Project, KSADP, has awarded contracts, in the sum of N2,509,343,144.10, for provision of capital projects at Dansoshiya Grazing Reserve, in Kiru local government area of the state. The Arewa Progressive Women League has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar is too corrupt to be presented as consensus candidate for the North.  The league also said the Kaduna jamboree by self-proclaimed Northern elders was a fraud. Zamfara government has apologized for shutting down the NTA, FRCN’s Pride FM Gusau and three other private broadcast media organizations. The other media organisations shutdown by the government included Gamji TV, Gamji FM and Al-umma TV which are privately operated. Poultry farmers have lamented the high cost of production and called for government intervention to address the challenges affecting the sector. The farmers made the call in separate interviews in Lagos on Monday. The Police Command in Abia has confirmed the shooting to death of one Insp. Samuel Ugor by a colleague, following an argument. The command’s spokesperson, SP Godfrey Ogbonna confirmed the incident to newsmen in Umuahia on Monday. The policemen were attached to the lawmaker representing Isiala Ngwa South constituency in the state Assembly, Chief Ginger Onwusibe.
