The Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) has said that all Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) that will be needed for the 2023 general elections would be ready before December 2022. The assurance was given by the National Commissioner and Chairman, Voter Education and Information Committee, Mr Festus Okoye in Abuja on Thursday. Niger, only state in the whole of the North Central to receive Efficiency of Public Expenditure award from the World Bank The World Bank has announced Niger state as one of the recipients of the State Fiscal Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability (SFTAS) implementation awards. The state was sole recipient of the Efficiency of Public Expenditure in North Central Nigeria. The awards are: Sustaining overall achievements on SFTAS DLIs from 2018 -2021; Efficiency of Public Expenditure award (only North Central state to receive the award; and Debt Sustainability award won along with 10 other states.

After spending less than six months in office, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate sack of Brigadier-General Muhammad Kukah Fadah as the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Reasons?
