Latest report by the World Bank has predicted that global economic growth will slow down over the next two years in the face of “fresh threats” from COVID-19 variants and rising inflation, debt and income inequality. The Police Command in Kano state have arrested one Auwalu Abdulrashid, 21, alias Lauje, for allegedly kidnapping and murder of a 13-year-old girl, Zuwaira. The spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna-Kiyawa disclosed this in a statement made available on Tuesday. He said that the police received complaint on June 21, 2021, that a 13-year-old girl, Zuwaira was kidnapped in Tofa local government area of the state.
