Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, has emphasised the urgent need for Nigeria to advance efforts in order to protect citizens, in the face of security challenges bedeviling the country. Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, the Director General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) says the agency has not approved any COVID-19 vaccines. She made this known in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja. The schools will resume to start first term of the 2020/2021 academic session. The Edo government has said that at least, 53 healthcare workers have tested positive for COVID-19 since the second wave of the pandemic in December.
