An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has restrained the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) from arresting and blocking the account of Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho. The Kaduna State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has decried the shifting of local government election in the state for the third time, by the State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM). The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has said it impounded 13 vehicles, 314 bags of imported rice and some other goods, valued at more than N60 million, in Katsina state between July 8 and Aug. 3. The Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) has instituted a research work that would help reduce the burden of high blood pressure on people living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
