The Federal Government of Nigeria, has warned Ghanaian authorities against further harassment of its citizens resident in the country. Nigerian traders in Ghana have recently had their shops sealed, with the Ghanaian government reportedly demanding payment of taxes considered outrageous by the traders. The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has confirmed that two persons died in a helicopter crash at Opebi in Ikeja, Lagos. The Acting Coordinator of the Lagos Territorial Office of NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the development in an interview in Lagos. Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, says he will sign the execution warrant of a 30-year-old man, Yahaya Sharif-Aminu, sentenced to death by hanging by an Upper Shari’a Court.
