The National Assembly, NASS, has passed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, which also approves the electronic transmission of results. The development is coming when the lawmakers resumed plenary on Tuesday after a three-week recess. Conference committees from the chambers were constituted to harmonise the differences in the Senate and House versions of the Electoral Act Amendment Bill. The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Mr Abdulazeez King (Kogi) and Mr Mohammed Baba (Bauchi) as Federal Commissioners in the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). This followed the adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs at Tuesday’s plenary. Presenting  the report, Chairman of the Committee, Sen. The U.S. Embassy in Nigeria is to spend $127,000 on the digital documentation and conservation of Busanyin Shrine located in the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove. The $127,000 grant was awarded to CyArk, a California-based non-profit, through the U.S. Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP).
