How to apply for EFCC recruitment

Interested and qualified Nigerians are advised to follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official EFCC recruitment portal at https://recruitment.efcc.gov.ng/

Step 2: Create an account using the required personal details, including a valid email address, telephone number, National Identification Number (NIN) and date of birth.

https://recruitment.efcc.gov.ng/check-email

Candidates are advised to ensure that their NIN and date of birth are correct and consistent with their official records. The portal warns that an applicant can submit only one application and that false information or multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.

Applicants should prepare the relevant supporting documents for their chosen category. These include:

  • Recent passport photograph.
  • Birth certificate or declaration of age.
  • Local government identification or indigene certificate.
  • Relevant educational certificates.

Applicants should check the requirements displayed on the portal for their specific category before uploading documents.

The portal also indicates that draft applications can be saved, but submitted applications cannot be edited. Candidates should therefore carefully verify all entries before final submission.

The recruitment information states that applications are expected to be submitted within one week of the commencement of the exercise.

The EFCC has emphasised that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge.
