A Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja on Friday dismissed a suit challenging the candidature of Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan Natasha of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Natasha had on May 25, won the party’s primary election monitored by INEC, as PDP Senatorial Candidate for Kogi Central District for the 2023 general elections. Ten buildings were consumed by fire when a tanker laden with 45,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit crashed, spilling its content at Ifo in Ogun. An accident involving a luxury bus on Saturday at Ejule-Ochadamu road in Kogi, has injured 45 persons. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) official said that the accident occurred at 8am in which 13 persons were injured. The Nigerian government is set to disburse the Cabottage Vessel Financing Fund (CVFF) to enable indigenous shipping operators to compete favourably with their foreign counterparts.
