Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has entered into an exclusive partnership with Premier Product Marketing LLC, a Vinmar company, to distribute Dangote Polypropylene to global markets outside Nigeria and Africa.

This strategic agreement aligns with the commencement of polypropylene production at the state-of-the-art Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Lekki, Lagos.

The facility employs INEOS’s proven INNOVENE technology to manufacture high-quality polypropylene grades used in a wide range of industries, including packaging, automotive, textiles, and construction.

“We are pleased to partner with Vinmar to introduce Dangote Polypropylene™ to the global market,” said Hajiya Fatima Aliko Dangote, Group Executive Director (Commercial), Dangote Group. “Like other Dangote products, Dangote Polypropylene™ is set to become a global brand synonymous with quality and reliability.”

Vishal Goradia, CEO of Vinmar Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are proud to expand our relationship with Dangote through this important collaboration. Vinmar has been privileged to serve Dangote in Nigeria for decades, and we are excited to support the global rollout of Dangote Polypropylene™.”

The $2 billion petrochemical facility, located in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, is designed to produce 77 grades of polypropylene, with an annual capacity of 900,000 metric tonnes and an expected turnover of $1.2 billion. It is strategically positioned to meet rising global demand in plastic processing industries.

Founded in 1978, Vinmar is a global leader in the marketing and distribution of petrochemicals, with over 1,500 employees across 58 offices worldwide and operations in more than 110 countries.
