Browsing: 2023 Wakaso Award for Young Female Journalists in Niger state

On the 12th June, the 1st Wakaso Award for Young Female Journalists was held and it was a success. Coming up with the idea to hold the competition was not an easy one for the organizer, Ms. Aisha Wakaso as there was uncertainty if we would get any entry from young female journalists in Niger state.

One of the most difficult challenges I have had to endure is balancing my professional responsibilities with the needs of my baby, particularly when it comes to breastfeeding.

I have always held the notion that I wasn’t a people person. I hated socializing as much as I loved solitude.
