The Nigerian Senate has constituted nine special committees.
It also named chairmen of the committees.
- Selection Committee with the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio as Chairman
- Committee on Rules and Business with Senator Titus Zam as Chairman
- Committee on Senate Services with Senator Sunday Karimi as Chairman
- Committee on Ethics and Public Petitions with Senator Okechukwu Ezia
- Committee on public Accounts with Senator Aliyu Wadada as Chairman
- Committee on National Security and Intelligence with Senator Shehu Umar
- Committee on legislative compliance with Senator Garba Musa as Chairman
- Committee on Media and Publicity with Senator Adeyemi Adaramodu as Chairman
- Committee on Appropriation with Senator Adeola Olamilekan as Chairman
