The Supreme Court of Nigeria in Abuja on Friday, ruled that female Muslim students in Lagos government-owned schools are free to use hijab. The apex court dismissed appeal by the Lagos state government upheld the Court of Appeal judgement that the ban on use of Hijab by students in Lagos, was discriminatory against Muslim students in the state. The UK Home Secretary, Priti Patel has approved the extradition of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange Mr Assange has 14 days to appeal the decision, the Home Office said. It said the courts found that extradition would not be “incompatible with his human rights” and that while in the US “he will be treated appropriately”. Bandit terrorists on Thursday night, attacked Zurmi town, headquarters of Zurmi local government area of Zamfara state and abducted scores of residents, SMARTS NEWS has reported.
