A day old baby on Friday, was rescued from a dustbin by the Lagos Police Command. The spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin who said that the baby was found wrapped in a polythene bag, added that if not for quick detection, the baby would have died. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed the document to formally annex four Ukrainian provinces occupied by Moscow’s troops. Putin said the regions of Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson are now part of Russia, during a televised ceremony in the Kremlin.
