The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented a Certificate of Return (CoR) to Osun governor-elect, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). President Muhammadu Buhari says a total of 266 ecological projects have been completed across the country in the last seven years (2015-2022). The president disclosed this at the inauguration of a compendium of ecological projects undertaken by his administration shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday in Abuja. After winning the election, Wickremesinghe addressed the parliament. Bogoro local government area (LGA), of Bauchi state, says it has embarked on rural water projects in 13 communities, to enhance access to portable drinking water in the area. The Council Chairman, Mr Iliya Habila, stated this during the presentation of cars to three Village Heads in Bogoro town, headquarters of the council. The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has approved the appointment of four new Deputy Corps Marshals, who will however, proceed on terminal leave. In a statement on Wednesday by its Public Education Officer, Mr Bisi Kazeem, the FRSC said that the approval was given during the meeting of its board on Tuesday, in Abuja. After skyrocketing growth in the immediate past 2021-22 fiscal year (July 2021-June 2022), the Bangladesh government has raised its export. The export is targeted by over 11 per cent to $67 billion for the current fiscal 2022-23 years. Bangladeshi Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi made the announcement at a news conference here on Wednesday. According to the minister, $58 billion would come from goods exports and 9 billion dollars from the service sector.
