An Islamic propagation body, Da’awa Coordination Council of Nigeria (DCCN), has called on Muslim Youths, to remain law abiding and avoid any act that could distract the peace and unity of Nigeria. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported 223 new cases of COVID-19. The Centre tweeted on its Twitter handle @NCDCGov Friday night, stated that Lagos recorded the highest with 85, followed by FCT which recorded 35 cases. Lagos state government says it has confirmed more positive COVID-19 cases in another secondary boarding school in the state. The state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, disclosed the new infections in a statement on Friday in Lagos. Abayomi said that a staff of the school fell ill, received first aid treatment at the school clinic, but later tested positive for COVID-19 at the Lagos State Biobank on Nov. 2. Rwanda Azam Premier League club, AS Kigali, has contracted Nigerian striker, Aboubakar Lawal, on a two-year deal, sports sources indicated in Kigali on Friday. According to team coach, Eric Nshimiyimana, the new player has committed to take the club to the advanced level of CAF Confederation Cup this month. Beneficiaries of the Federal government’s Anchor Borrowers Programme in Nasarawa state have received farm inputs to boost dry season farming activities. The farm inputs distributed to the 2,074 farmers was a partnership between Prime Global Synergy and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) under the Anchor Borrowers’ Programme.
