The Defence Headquarters says the Air Component of Operation Thunder Strike has eliminated several armed bandits in an air strike on Saturday in the forest at Kuzo area of Kaduna State. The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Maj. John Enenche, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja. The Lagos State Attorney-General, Mr Moyosore Onigbanjo has ordered the release of 253 persons arrested by police over their alleged roles in the unrest following the #EndSARS protests. He said in a statement by the Director of Public Affairs, Mr Kayode Oyekanmi on Sunday  that his office had determined that there was a nondisclosure of a prima-facie case against the 253 persons by the police. The Sokoto State Government, through the Zakkat and Endowment Commission (SOZECOM), has established a hospital to cater for indigent patients with severe illnesses in the state.
