The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu says it has confirmed 16 new cases of Lassa fever from five states in Nigeria. He disclosed this in Abuja on Saturday while given an update about the disease and effort by the centre.
