The Sokoto Advancement Forum (SAF) has postponed its planned brainstorming session on youth drug abuse in Sokoto State due to a clash with activities marking the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration.
In a statement, the group said the session, earlier scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026, has been shifted to Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Al-Hajj Hall, Sokoto Guest Inn.
The statement explained that the postponement was necessary to allow invited guests and stakeholders sufficient time to participate in the Workers’ Day activities without conflict.
