Nigeria’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami has said that he neither conspired to witch-hunt not procured witnesses to testify against anybody before the Justice Ayo Salami-led panel. The panel is probing the suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr Ibrahim Magu. A Plant Physiologist, Dr Olufunmilayo Idowu, has advised Nigerians to eat mushrooms because of its antioxidants content that could protect the human body against cancer. In an interview in Ibadan on Monday, Idowu of the National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT) said some species of mushrooms have selenium and ergothioneine, antioxidants good for the body. Four persons were killed in flash floods in Turkey’s northern Black Sea region and 11 others are missing, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, said on Sunday. The footage, from the northern province of Giresun, showed floodwaters caused by unusually heavy rainfall dragging buildings and vehicles along a road, leaving them buried in mud.
