The Abia state governor, Alex Otti has announced a plan for first-ever seaport in Southeast Nigeria.
He made the announcement at the ongoing Southeast Security Summit in Owerri, Imo state on Thursday.
The project, to be located in Owazza, Ụkwa East local government area of the state, will be inaugurated on September, 30 2023.
