2023 campaign: APC-led govt responsible for insecurity, vote PDP – Tambuwal

ASHENEWS reports that the Sokoto state governor and Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has told supporters to blame Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration for insecurity across the country.

This online platform made said this while speaking at a campaign rally in the Silame local government area of the state.

According to him, in spite of the federal government controlling the military, the police, the DSS, and other security agencies, the people of Sokoto state and other Nigerians had suffered in the hands of Boko Haram/ISWAP, bandits and other criminal elements.

Tambuwal urged Nigerians to elect candidates of the PDP as state assembly, House of Representatives members, Senators, governors, and Atiku Abubakar as president, promising that PDP government will tackle the problems of insecurity, poverty, and better the lives of the people.

“Atiku Abubakar is the answer to issues of banditry in the north, and kidnapping and killings in the south-south and southeast if elected president.

“Atiku will  take  proper measures against smuggling and address the challenges of insecurity as well as provide Nigerians with basic necessities of life.

“At the state level, Mallam Ubandoma will the good works we have done,” he said.

Also speaking, the state party chairman, Bello Mohammed Goronyo called on supporters to ensure they collect their voters cards from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) because according to him, “that is the only weapon with which you can vote out the bad APC administration by electing the PDP.

The governorship candidate, Sa’idu Umar pledged to build on the achievements of Tambuwal if given the mandate to lead the state.

The Director General of Sokoto Campaign Management Council, Yusuf Suleiman emphasised that the PDP is the best party that will solve the problems of insecurity, economy.
