The wife of Lagos State Governor, Dr. Claudia Sanwo-Olu, and Otunba Kehinde Almaroof-Oloyede, Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, have flagged off the 2026 MNCAH+N Week in Oshodi-Isolo.

The Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (MNCAH+N) Week will provide free maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent healthcare services.

According to a statement issued by the council on Wednesday, the event took place on Monday at the council’s Secretariat.

Sanwo-Olu, represented by Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat, reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to improving access to quality healthcare services for women and children across the state.

The week-long programme offers treatment for childhood malnutrition, deworming, routine immunisation, nutritional support, antenatal care, health education, and other life-saving interventions.

Almaroof-Oloyede described the initiative as a significant investment in residents’ health and future, stating that sustainable development depends on prioritising the well-being of mothers and children.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare and urged Oshodi-Isolo residents to utilise the free medical services throughout the week.

Traditional rulers, permanent secretaries, councillors, executive council members, development partners, the management team, and residents attended the flag-off ceremony.
