Exabeam has introduced its modernised LogRhythm security information and event management (SIEM) platform in Iraq, offering organisations AI-assisted security operations while keeping sensitive security data within their own environments.
The company said the platform enables security teams to monitor enterprise AI activity, investigate threats using locally hosted AI models and simplify reporting. Its on-premises deployment is designed to give regulated organisations greater control over their data and AI workloads while supporting data sovereignty and local compliance requirements.
The rollout targets government, financial services, energy, telecommunications and critical infrastructure organisations as Iraq expands its digital services.
A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server connects locally hosted generative AI models to SIEM data, allowing security teams to run queries, investigate threats and triage alerts within their own infrastructure. Built-in collectors for ChatGPT, Google Gemini and GitHub Copilot bring enterprise AI activity data into LogRhythm SIEM for logging and risk monitoring, providing additional context for investigations into insider threats involving AI tools.
“We’re proud to support Iraqi organizations as they expand their digital services and manage the security risks that come with wider access to mission-critical data. Securing Iraq’s digital transformation means understanding how employees and AI agents use trusted access and identifying when that access is misused,” said Mazen Adnan Dohaji, Senior Vice President and General Manager, IMETA, at Exabeam.
“Through our modernized LogRhythm SIEM, we’re addressing this need by helping teams use local AI models to investigate insider risk without moving sensitive security data outside their environment. We’re focused on helping customers in Iraq build on existing investments and adopt AI-assisted security operations to meet region-specific needs.”
Exabeam unveiled the platform to customers and partners during its “Securing Iraq’s Digital Future” events in Baghdad. Sessions included demonstrations of LogRhythm SIEM’s AI capabilities, discussions on the future of Iraq’s sector-specific security operations centres (SOCs), and presentations on partner programmes and incentives aimed at expanding cybersecurity services in the country.
“The growth of digital payments, online public services, and connected energy infrastructure in Iraq is giving security analysts more complex environments to protect. With LogRhythm SIEM, teams can use local AI models to gather context and triage alerts, then apply knowledge of the services and data to decide what to do next,” said Omar Al-Zuhairi, Regional Manager, Iraq and Levant, at Exabeam.
“The Agentic SOC puts human judgment and oversight at the center of AI-assisted workflows. Our discussions in Baghdad highlighted the growing need for the capabilities we deliver through LogRhythm SIEM to help security teams in Iraq manage daily SOC activity.”
The company said the introduction forms part of its efforts to strengthen cyber resilience in Iraq while allowing organisations to adopt AI-assisted security operations suited to their infrastructure and data requirements. Its offerings include the cloud-native New-Scale Security Operations Platform and the on-premises LogRhythm SIEM platform.
