The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike-backed Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general election.

In a timetable issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, the cost of the presidential expression of interest and nomination forms was set at N51 million.

The nomination forms for governorship were pegged at N31 million, Senate at N7 million, House of Representatives at N4 million, and House of Assembly at N3 million. Female aspirants are required to pay only the expression of interest fee, fixed at N1 million for each position.

Sales of forms for all positions will run from April 27 to May 4, with submissions closing on May 9. The presidential primary is scheduled for May 17–18, governorship on May 27, House of Representatives on May 21, Senate on May 23, and Houses of Assembly on May 25. Appeals for all positions will be heard on May 30.

Screening of presidential and governorship aspirants is set for May 12, while aspirants for the National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly will be screened on May 11.

Bature stated that the timetable complies strictly with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) and the Electoral Act 2026, and aligns with the revised timetable issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
