The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced uploading of results for the Saturday governorship election in Osun into the commission’s results viewing portal. The upload of election results started shortly after the close of voting and sorting of votes in some polling units across the state. Osun state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has said that he is sure of winning the governorship election, as he cast his vote at Unit 2, Ward 1, LA Primary School, Popo, Iragbiji in Boripe local government area. A total of 3,000 households in Sokoto state on Friday got COVID-19 palliatives from the Victims Support Fund (VSF), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).
