Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola has signed the 2023 N138 billion appropriation bill into law. A statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan on Friday, said that the governor signed the bill into law on Thursday night. The state House of Assembly on Wednesday passed the appropriation bill. The total recurrent expenditure of the budget is N99.2 billion, while the capital expenditure is N39 billion. Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri on Friday, presented a budget proposal of N175.019 billion, tagged tagged “Budget of Consolidation”, to the state House of Assembly for 2023 fiscal year. Fintiri said that the proposed fiscal policy was made up of Recurrent Expenditure of N105.011 billion, representing 60 per cent of the total budget.
