The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has directed passport offices across the country to work on Saturdays to clear backlog of passport applications. This is contained in a statement made available by the Service’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Tony Akuneme in Abuja on Saturday. Gwarzo local government area of Kano state has said that it targets 9,926 children for vaccination against yellow fever. The primary health care coordinator of the local government, Mr Isyaku Hamza made this known at an evening review meeting of the exercise on Friday.
