Justice Hammada Isa Dashen of the Federal High Court, Damaturu, Yobe State on Thursday, ordered the final forfeiture of an uncompleted building, located on No. 37 AV Road, Barracks Road, Jimeta Yola, Adamawa state, belonging to one Sulaiman Musa Bazza, to the federal government. Bazza is is a public servant in the Federal Pay Office, Damaturu. The Kaduna state government on Thursday dismissed reports that motorists and travelers have stopped using the Kaduna-Abuja Road. The state’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan made the denial during a visit to some communities along the highway. The Northern Governors Forum, NGF, has  inaugurated a Consultative Committee on constitutional  roles for traditional rulers in Nigeria’s governance architecture. The United Nations Environment Programme, UNEP, has called for better human waste management in Africa. A statement by it, mailed to AsheNews on Thursday said poor sanitation posed major health, environmental and socioeconomic risks in many African countries. According to a study jointly conducted by UNEP and the International Water Management Institute, IWMI, poor fecal sludge management is a major contributor to the 115 deaths per hour from excreta related diseases in Africa.
