The Special Military Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), in Plateau has arrested 27 suspected cult members operating in various communities in Jos North local government area of the state. Maj.-Gen. Chukwuemeka Okonkwo, the Commander of the task force, said this while speaking with newsmen on Saturday in Jos. The Lagos State House of Assembly has promised to include compensations to EndSARS victims in the state’s 202 Budget currently before the House. The Federal Government has agreed to pay the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on a different mode of payment other than the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS). Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has said that all equipment needed for the Deep Blue Project would be ready by March 2021. Amaechi said this on Friday while inspecting the equipment purchased for the Deep Blue Project at Naval Base Ojo in Lagos.
