In a related development, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, in charge of Zone 10, AIG Muhammed Mustapha has announced the death of two persons during campaign rally at Bakura town.

The AIG made the declaration during a media briefing at Bakura Police Station after he met with the supporters of the two major political parties, the APC and PDP.

According to him, one person was killed on Wednesday and another one was killed today Thursday and there are strong indications that more crises were being ignited if the political rallies were allow to go on.

He vowed that the police will not allow its primary responsibility of securing the lives and properties to be hijacked by some mischief makers.
