Two adhoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, have been reported missing, even as the commission declares the House of Assembly by-election in Bakura local government of Zamfara state, inconclusive. The by-election was declared inconclusive  due to over-voting and other alleged malpractices in some polling units. The returning officer of the by-election, Professor Ibrahim Magawata who addressed newsmen in the early hours of Sunday, said the election results of some polling units in Bakura ward had been cancelled. The Federal government is to revive three major power projects in Abia North Senatorial District, in the first quarter of 2021, according to the Minister of Power, Mr Sale Mamman, who was on a visit to the project sites. The Benue Police Command has nabbed killer of Dr Karl Kwaghger, lecturer of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi. This is contained in a statement by the Spokesperson of the command, DSP Anene Sewuese made available to AsheNews on Saturday. The African Development Bank, AfDB, has estimated that Africa’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, will decline by $173-236 billion by the end of 2020, equivalent to 3.4%. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), on Saturday, graduated a batch of 203 Special Forces (SF), combat, search and rescue personnel in Bauchi. Some hoodlums accosted INEC officials as they prepared to commence voting during Saturday’s by-election at Unit 13, Kosofe council area of Lagos state. The hoodlums insisted on collecting money from INEC officials before voting could commence.
