A statement she personally signed on Sunday, said though she was asymptomatic, series of tests conducted on her and family members returned her positive while the family members tested negative. Health authorities in northern Zambia on Saturday launched a massive oral cholera vaccination campaign aimed at containing the frequent outbreak of diarrhea disease in some districts. The first round of vaccination campaign will be done in Nsama, one of the districts with high cholera incidences in which over 7,000 people will be captured, according to the state-run news agency, the Zambia News and Information Service (ZANIS). The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has reported  829 new infections of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), pandemic outbreak in the country. The NCDC made this known via its verified website on Saturday. The NCDC said that the new infections bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 83,576 which includes 70,495 discharged cases and 1,247 deaths. Germany reported 13,755 more COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours on Sunday, bringing the national tally to 1,640,858, according to data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI). The nationwide death toll rose by 356 to 29,778, the data showed.
