Yobe state government said that it carried out 1,430 successful eye surgeries in 2020 in the state. Dr. Babagana Machina, the Executive Secretary of Yobe State Primary Healthcare Management Agency, said this on Sunday in Damaturu at an event to mark the World Neglected Tropical Diseases Day (NTDs) . The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) says the deal it signed with the Petroleum Equalisation Fund (PEF) will deepen gas utilisation in the country. IPMAN President, Mr Chinedu Okoronkwo, in Lagos on Sunday, said the deal, which was signed recently in Abuja by PEF and the oil marketers was in line with the vision of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to increase domestic gas utilisation.
