The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says the country on Saturday,  registered 13 deaths and 1,143 new cases of COVID-19. In the last 24 hours, the Nigeria’s daily fatalities slightly declined compared to Friday’s record of 24. The Centre stated that the 1,143 new cases were from 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Nigerian Army Headquarters says troops of Operation Tura Takaibango on Tuesday, eliminated two most wanted Boko Haram terrorists leaders, Abul-Bas and Ibn Habib in an encounter at Pulka axis of Borno. The Kaduna state government says has plans to introduce a disability benefit programme to afford residents living with disabilities to live a life of dignity. “It is to complement other social protection initiatives being implemented in the state,’’  said Mrs Saude Atoyebi, the State Focal Person on the Social Investment Programmes. The US Senate on Saturday acquitted former president Donald Trump from allegation of inciting insurrection in the Capital on January 6. The Kaduna state government on Saturday said that an airstrike of Nigerian Air Force, neutralised bandits in Birnin Gwari and Giwa local government areas of Kaduna.
