The UK government, on Sunday said it would be working with Nigeria to address the challenges of climate change in the country. The British High Commission in Nigeria made this known in a statement in Lagos. Four persons were burnt to death on Sunday in a lone accident involving a 14-passenger commercial bus at Atoyo, inbound Ogbere on Ijebu Ode -Benin expressway. Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, the Public Relations Officer, Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta. A bill to regulate the qualification for the practice of journalism in Nigeria, is scheduled for second reading at the House of Representatives. Contained in the Nigerian Press Council Amendment Bill 2019 and sponsored by Francis Agbo, the bill will make it mandatory for practicing journalists to have degrees or higher diploma in media-related courses, The Punch has reported. The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), retired Col. Hameed Ali has disclosed that the federal government implemented the border closure policy in order to send a message to the neighbouring countries. The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is to commence implementation of tariff reduction on vehicles before the end of this month. The NCS Comptroller-General, retired Col.
