Electricity consumers in Kano State, have faulted Kano Electricity Distribution Company’s (KEDCO) claim of providing free meters to 40,000 customers, under its phase zero plan. A cross section of customers at the metropolis on Sunday said the claim lacked empirical evidence. An explosion in Kaduna on Saturday claimed the life of one person, leaving two others injured. Spokesperson of Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Muhammad Jalige, who confirmed the incident, said it occurred at about 4.30pm in Badarawa area of Kaduna North local government area.
