Sokoto state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Sudan-based company, Bunian Agency for General Services Co. Ltd, to adequately cater for its students studying in the country. The MoU was signed on Tuesday, by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Saidu Umar for Sokoto state and Ambassador Nuradden Ibrahim, the Director General of Bunian, on behalf of the company. The MoU also focused on the deepening of diplomatic ties between Sokoto state and Sudan in the areas of educational pursuit, commerce and agriculture among others, through the instrumentality of the company. The Kogi state government on Tuesday said it had recorded about 75 to 80 per cent success of the recent data capturing exercise of all private schools in the state. Nigeria has the third highest mobile subscriptions additions in the first quarter of 2021 globally, says the latest mobility report by multinational telecommunications company, Ericsson. An FCT High Court, sitting in Kubwa, on Tuesday ordered a 21- year-old student, Abraham Umuibe, who cheated a Chinese woman of N113,000 to sweep Mpape Government Secondary School for 90 days.
